Matt Eich
LUCEO
Matt Eich is a documentary photographer and founding member of LUCEO Images. His work is rooted in memory, both personal and collective, and he strives to approach every photograph with a sense of intimacy. He began his studies in photojournalism at Ohio University in 2004 and in 2006 was named College Photographer of the Year. He went on to receive the F25 Award for Concerned Photography and Picture of the Year International’s Community Awareness Award. In 2010, Eich was chosen as one of Photo District News (PDN) 30 Emerging Photographers to Watch. His clients include National Geographic, TIME, Newsweek, Harper’s, Businessweek and many more. Matt’s work is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, The Portland Art Museum, and numerous private collections.
